The Community of St. John gave us permission to share two series of talks given in the United States during a retreat. There is a rising interest in society in the occult and so-called white magic. In 1972 Pope Saint John Paul II affirmed that we were reaching the moment of the highest confrontation between good and evil. These excellent talks by experienced priests provide helpful insights. Lay people are sometimes encouraged to "get involved" with exorcisms. These priests explain that lay persons may pray for deliverance for themselves and others, but exorcism is a separate ministry for those whom the bishop appoints.
